Top 10 Ways For Procrastinating

So I have pretty much realized that I am the queen of procrastination. I have been able to find so many different ways to avoid doing my homework because homework is definitely not as fun as these next 10 things.
 1. Watching television/movie: During spring break I had a ton of work to catch up on, instead I watched Burlesque 5 times in 6 days.
2. Read a book for fun: As an English major there are a lot of books that I have to read for my classes, its nice to just read for fun every once in a while instead of doing my assigned reading, no matter how interesting the assigned reading is.
3. Paint: Every once in a while I will buy a paint by number, they give you the lines to fill in and what colors to do it so its not a lot of thinking and it is really relaxing to do.
4. Textsfromlastnight.com: a completely hilarious website to go onto. It always makes me laugh the things people say when they are drunk.
5. Crazythingsparentstext.com: Yet another funny website. Some of the things a parent says to their child is truly shudder worthy.
6. FUautocorrect.com: We've all been there. You're writing a serious text and your phone changes a word that makes it sound so wrong and so funny!
7. The Bubble Game: You can find this game on pretty much any online game website, or if you just type bubble game online into Google. I could play this game for hours, and I sometimes do.
8. Checking your email: I check my email 4 or 5 times a day and there sometimes is nothing new in it but, I still have to look.
9. Clean: I HATE cleaning, so much but there are times when I'm sitting in my room and I just look around and it makes me so irritated how messy everything is so I will clean instead of doing my work.
10. Lastly, and the best procrastination tool, Facebook. You really cannot go wrong with Facebook. There is so much to do on there and always people on to talk to so you could definitely waste a lot of time there!

Those are my top 10 procrastination tools, combine them all and you have my spring break!

rant

Have you ever got into your car in the best mood ever and just rolled the windows down, turned the music up as loud as you could and just lost yourself in the moment only to have some jerk driver completely turn your mood around? That happened to me today, it was not freezing when I woke up so when I got in my car I turned Jason Aldean (completely obsessed with him currently) and rolled down the windows a little to get a nice breeze going in the car and started my drive. Not even ten minutes into my drive some guy that probably left for work late tries to fit his car between me and the one to my right, he couldn't fit but that didn't stop him from trying anyway. So, he makes his way right in and pushing me almost off the road, I slam on my breaks and swerve to miss being hit, and does he do anything when I honk and angry scream in his direction? No, of course not! He just keeps on with his drive speeding off like nothing in the world just happened, like he did not just try and run me off the road. Almost instantly my mood was switched from being in a good mood to nothing but anger coursing through me. Well, my tai chi teacher has been teaching us that instead of yelling at someone and throwing your mood off you are supposed to Bless that person instead. My teacher explained that you have no idea why that person that cut you off is speeding and running. He explains that a family member could be in the hospital and he is rushing to get there, and since we don't realize why then we are supposed to Bless them instead. Well, I don't think that my teacher realizes how unsatisfying it is to bless someone when they are being jerks. It makes me feel a lot better that he did something rude to me so I equal it out by yelling and getting my anger and frustration out. However, while my way of doing things is most definitely satisfying, it is so not the thing to do. We all have the days where we are the person rushing and worried that we won't make it to something on time, I just need to learn to think of those moments when someone does the same thing to me.

Blog Review

The Blog I am going to review is http://www.technology-blog.com/blogs/computer-blog.html, this blog has helped me through many computer problems. It uses a lot of scientific termonology but it breaks it down so that I am able to better understand it. It's perfect cause I am not the most computer literate person there is so this blog definitely helps me out!
This Blog also keeps people informed about the progress of computer technology. It tells you the new things coming out and how they work and their purpose. They quote scientists about what the technology will be used for and they put up pictures of the technology and what they would look like at a closer level. I think these things are important to keep up with because if you know the new things that are coming out you have a better chance of keeping up with the ever changing, ever growing technology.
I like this blog because I fell like I learn a lot of things. I am not a computer literate person as i mentioned earlier and this makes me feel like I am keeping up with a lot of the things that are going on in the world of technology today. I am pretty sure that I would have never heard of half of these things if it weren't for this Blog. So, if you want an update of the technology we will soon be facing then check out the Blog!

For example: P.S.WRH205 this is the Blog of one of my fellow classmates, they will be having extremely similar posts to mine due to the fact that we are posting for the same class. This way if I do not elaborate enough on one of my posts you could visit theirs so that you get a better understanding!
